In 2012, while part of a graduate course in academic and non-theatrical film at NC State University, I had the pleasure of meeting Skip Elsheimer, who hand-picked a number of the films we watched (and occasionally ran the projector). He is the founder of A/V Geeks, which collects, stores, preserves, and maintains over 23,000 16mm films.
